What this site is

SYJ EDUCATE (this website) is a static site hosted on GitHub Pages. It does not run its own server-side backend, and it does not require account creation to browse the curriculum, tracks, or projects.

Information we collect

GitHub Pages, as our hosting provider, may log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps for security and abuse-prevention purposes. We do not control or access these logs directly. See GitHub's own privacy documentation for details on their hosting-level data practices.

If you submit the newsletter or contact form on this site, the email address and message content you provide would be used solely to respond to you or send curriculum update emails, and never sold or shared with third parties. These forms are not currently connected to a live backend; see the relevant page for the current status.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use third-party advertising trackers. A single browser-local preference (light or dark theme) is stored using your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.

Third-party links

This site links to external services including GitHub, X, and LinkedIn. Each of those services has its own privacy policy governing data collected once you leave this site.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for developers and learners generally, and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
